The study of the Special population groups in Nigeria, whose existence has been characterized by the absence of permanent place of residence and by their culture and occupations of permanency of on the move. The recent spate and frequent harassments, intimidations, conflicts and, in some cases, becoming vulnerable to annihilation in their host communities or while on transit to their chosen greener pastures, because the climate dictates where they are and at what time. In the National Policy on Education (2013), the Federal Government of Nigeria stresses the importance of purposeful and functional education to Nigerians.
