dc.description.abstract The paper highlights some issues that need to be rethinking in an attempt to see to the proper Almajiri Education in the state and Nigeria as a whole after clarifying the concepts of productive, sustainable peace and national development. The issues of misconception of the Almajiri child, regular census of Almajiri schools, mobilization and sensitization of general public as well as improving the condition of our formal public schools were discussed. It is recommended that the government at all levels should enforce laws related to child right act to prevent the parent from sending their children out for Almajirci. en_US
