dc.description.abstract Examination misconduct in our schools and colleges has today become a very serious problem in the Nigerian educational system despite the various measures that are being taken to remedy the menace. This paper identifies the causes, effects and the various means through which the scourge of examination misconduct in schools and colleges can be remedied. Major among the recommendations on how to tackle the problem of examination misconduct are: proper preparation for examination before it is carried out, the standardization of teaching and the adequate provision of material and human resources. en_US
