dc.description.abstract The study examined impact of Occupational Groups in fostering community development activities ill OmodaAdangba community, Ilorin, Kwara State. The study adopted survey research design with a sample of 300 numbers of different occupational groups ralldomly selected from ten ( JO) stratified occupational groups in Omoda-Adangba community. The data collected using Occupatiollal Groups and Community Deve/ppment Questionnaire ( OGCDQ). and focused group discussion schedule were analysed with simple percentages and chi-square statistics. The findings from the study showed that activities of the grol,f.ps had significantly impacted positively Oil the socio-eco1Zomic status and infrastructural development of their host community. General education for all occupational groups and establishment of mutual relationship between· occupational groups and community development agencies are therefore, recommended. en_US
