dc.subject The National Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination Programme (NLFEP) was established in 1997, in response to World Health Assembly Resolution urging member States to eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis (LF) as a public health problem. NLFEP was merged with NOCP in 2007 in order to harmonise implementation of MDA in co-endemic areas. The National Goal was set to eliminate the LF by 2016. en_US
