It is axiomatic to begin this Lecture by asserting that it surely will beat the imagination of the reader of the text of as well as the listener to the presentation that the average Nigerian can‟t appreciate the fact that the system of governance that has been adopted or by which Nigerians were coerced to adopt as the preferred system of governance by the
colonial hegemons has been accompanied and afflicted by costs due to inherent absurdities.
